摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic braking device needing no frequent adjustment of a gap, preventing accidents of seizure and maintaining the satisfactory responsiveness to action while being miniaturized. SOLUTION: An electromagnetic braking device is provided with an annular stator 1 having a U-shaped magnetic path section and an exciting coil 3 attached inside, while having an outer magnetic pole 1a on the outer peripheral side end face and an inner magnetic pole 1b on the inner peripheral end face, a plurality of support pins 6 embedded in the outer magnetic pole 1a part, an armature 5 attached to the support pin 6 to be moved axially by the excitation of the exciting coil 3 and opposed through a gap g to the magnetic pole of the stator 1 under the condition of non-excitation, a braking plate 8 supported through an adjusting mechanism on the support pin 6 and a rotor 11 interposed between the armature 5 and the braking plate 8 and having linings 12 on both surfaces while being bound with a rotary shaft. A magnetic body 14 constituting the same magnetic pole as the inner magnetic pole 1b is adapted to be attached to the outer periphery of the inner magnetic pole 1b.</p>
