<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient portable terminal which can stably operate even when the terminal is provided with no isolator by suppressing the standing-wave ratio of an antenna and absorbing reflected waves, has a small size, and can be manufactured at a low cost. SOLUTION: A portable terminal is provided with a means which suppresses the standing-wave ratio of an antenna 1 within a prescribed range by covering the periphery of the antenna 1 with a radome made of an electromagnetically transmissive material so as to prevent a conductor from approaching the antenna 1 to a distance shorter than a prescribed value, a circulator 3 which suppresses reflected waves from the antenna 1 to a prescribed value or smaller and works as the transmitting/receiving means of the antenna 1, and a means which increases the loss in reflected waves by making the reflected waves from the antenna 1 to make a detour to a reception circuit through the circulator 3 and making the return route of the waves longer or protects a power amplifier 12 by absorbing the reflected waves to the reception circuit.</p> |
