PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a product which has high mechanical strength and good heat sealing and tearing properties by forming the layer of low density polyethylene by a single site catalyst on one surface of a backing film through a low density polyethylene layer or a linear low density polyethylene layer. SOLUTION: The layer 3 of low density polyethylene by a single site catalyst is formed at least on one surface of a backing film 1 through a low density polyethylene layer 2 or a linear low density polyethylene layer 2. A biaxially oriented plastic film, especially a biaxially oriented polyester film is used usually as the backing film 1. In the low density polyethylene layer 2, low density polyethylene 0.91-0.93 in density and 10-50μm in thickness is used preferably. The preferable thickness of the low density polyethylene layer 3 is 10-40μm. In this way, a packaging material having good tearing and heat sealing properties can be obtained.
