PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge head which is free from clogging in a discharge aperture. SOLUTION: This liquid discharge head comprises a first area with a discharge aperture 18 which discharges a first liquid, a bubble generating area 11 which maintains a second liquid and generates a bubble in the second liquid, and a movable member 31, with a fulcrum part located upstream side of a free end, which is displacement between a first position arranged opposite to the bubble generating area 11 and a second position arranged remote from the bubble generating area 11 in the first area. The first liquid is used for a liquid discharge head which displaces the movable member 31 from the first position to the second position following the generation of the bubble in the bubble generating area 11 and at the same time, guides the bubble to the discharge aperture 18 side with the assistance of the movable member 31. Besides, the first liquid is almost free from a change in its state under the atmosphere.
