PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a linear motor type elevator in which a brake operation noise is low. SOLUTION: In an elevator in which a primary winding wire for a linear motor and a rail clamping type brake are installed in a balance weight, only resistors R9A, R9B in tail cords 9A, 9B are used for resistors of a discharge circuit (the tail cords 9A, 9B - brake coils 11A, 11B - a normally open contract 22a for an operation allowing contactor - a normally close contact 24b for a braking contactor - a diode 25) excepting the brake coils 11A, 11B in a brake circuit when a brake is operated in an elevator stopping time, or alternatively, an attenuation resistor 26 is inserted and a total of its resistance value and the resistance values of the resistor R9A, R9B is set to be the resistance values for the brake coils 11A, 11B or less. In case of an emergency stop, the discharge circuit is cut off by opening the normally open contact 22. |
