PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cleaner composition for bodies, containing biodegradable plastic powder having a prescribed average particle diameter, excellent in a cleaning force, weak in the irritation of skins, good in biodegradability and substantially not causing environmental pollutions. SOLUTION: This cleaner composition for bodies contains biodegradable plastic powder having an average particle diameter of 30-500μm, preferably 100-300μm. The biodegradable plastic is preferably an aliphatic polyester (e.g. polyglycolic acid ester). The cleaner composition for bodies preferably contains biodegradable plastic powder having an average particle diameter of 30-500μm (0.5-30wt.%), a terpene hydrocarbon and/or a terpene alcohol (0.5-30wt.%) and a surfactant (0.5-30wt.%), and preferably has a viscosity of 5-100 poise at 20 deg.C. The composition can effectively remove strong stains such as heavy oil stains, metal powder stains or coating film-like stains in industrial production sites, etc., and is especially suitable as a hand cleaner.
