PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the danger that a connector causes a contact defect by dust and to secure reliability by providing a sheath for covering a connector part in a card shape. SOLUTION: This PC card camera 1 is composed of a camera 2 and the sheath 3. The camera 2 incorporates a video camera 5 inside a camera case 4 and a switch substrate, a power switch 8 and a shutter button 9 are arranged on the video camera 5. A PC card 7 is integrally constituted at the lower part of the video camera 5 and a contact point is arranged on the PC card 7 near the camera case 4. The connector 12 is provided on the lowest end of the PC card 7 and the connector 12 is a 68-pin connector based on a PCMCIA standard. The entire PC card 7 is inserted inside the sheath 3 and a battery 15 and a regulator 16 are arranged inside the sheath 3 further. The battery 15 is exchanged from the sheath 3 by detaching a battery cover. Also, a lock release button 14 is arranged at the upper part of the sheath 3. |
