METHOD FOR ROLLING FLANGED SECTIONS IN ROUGH GROOVED PASSES

FIELD: production of rolled stock in ferrous metallurgy, namely flanged section rolling in rough passes with use of box passes and skew beam passes. SUBSTANCE: when rectangular rolled plate is rolled in rough box pass it is alternatively rolled in two inclined beam passes at tilting said rolled plate between them by 90 degrees and at orienting concave wide faces of plate towards ridges of said passes. Then rolled plate is tilted by 45 degrees for further rolling in closed passes. EFFECT: lowered axial efforts in inclined beam passes, larger number of such passes along roll barrel, enhanced conditions of plate biting by rolls. 6 dwg
