PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain excellent antireflection property with excellent contamination resistance, scratching resistance and durability against processing by coating the surface of an antireflection film on a plastic substrate with an alkoxysilane compd. having specified fluoroalkyl groups or perfluoropolyether groups. SOLUTION: The surface of an antireflection film 2 is coated with a surface reforming film comprising an alkoxysilane compd. expressed by RfCOX-R1 -Si(OR2 )3 having fluoroalkyl groups or perfluoropolyether groups. In the formula, Rf represents fluoroalkyl groups or perfluoropolyether groups, X is usually O, N, H or S atom or atomic group, R1 is a chain of carbon atoms including an alkylene group, and R2 is a chain of carbon atoms including an alkyl group or alkyl group. The surface reforming film is preferably formed by diluting the alkoxysilane compd. in a solvent having 50 to 120 deg.C boiling point and 0.5 to 4.0cPs viscosity at 20 deg.C and then applying the obtd. soln. |
