FIELD: electric measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: flux-gate magnetometer (Fig. 1) has three flux gates 1, 2, 3 with mutually orthogonal magnetic axes. Every flux gate consists, respectively, of core 4, 5, 6, field winding 7, 8, 9 and input winding 10, 11, 12. Magnetometer has also AC amplifier 13, phase-sensitive rectifier 14, feedback unit 15, recording device 16, pulse forming device 17, phase inverter 18, generator 19, switch 20, three excitation units 21, 22, 23, and control unit 24. Output windings 10, 11, 12 of flux gates 1, 2, 3 are connected in series. Output terminal of winding 12 is connected to common wire, and input terminal of winding 10 is connected to input of AC amplifier 13. Pulse forming device 13 may be made of series-connected diode level former and comparator. EFFECT: higher measurement results. 2 cl, 5 dwgT
