PURPOSE: To improve the parts recognition accuracy by taking in an image of parts in a range suitable for recognition thereof. CONSTITUTION: On a moving path of a head unit 5 is placed a sensor unit composed of an illuminator 23b and main body of sensor having a line sensor 24, and the unit 5 is moved relatively to the sensor 24 to thereby take in an image of each parts sucked by each nozzle member. Thus apparatus comprises a means 35 for setting an image take-in range for each parts, range correcting means 35 for setting the image take-in ranges of adjacent parts by dividing the ranges at specified ratio if overlapped, means 34 for controlling the take-in timing of the image by the line sensor 24 on the basis of the image take-in range and image processing means 37 for applying specified image processing to the taken image of each parts, thereby recognizing the parts. |
