A gear case for power window regulators, housing therein a worm gear device for use in reducing the rotational speed of a motor drive, is characterized in that the gear case consists of a thermoplastic resin and a metal plate of which at least the greater part is encapsulated in the thermoplastic resin, the metal plate being composed of a projecting portion extending outward along a bearing on the gear case for an output shaft, and a substantially flat portion extending along a side surface of the gear case from a base part of said projecting portion to the outer circumference of said gear case. |
