PURPOSE:To prevent a temperature rise of lubricating oil by connecting a cooling water guide member, in which a cooling water passage is formed in the outer position from the upper part opening end of an oil pan, to the lower end of an engine mount member connected to the upper end of a casing internally built with a drive power transmitting means. CONSTITUTION:An outboard engine has a casing 1 in which an engine E is mounted to the upper part, and an engine mount member 6 is connected to the upper end part of an extension case 5 extended to the upper and lower of this casing 1. here the case 5, oil pan 21 and the mount member 6 are connected by interposing a common gasket 27 mutually therebetween. This gasket 27 is formed by providing an opening part 51, through which a recessed part 43 of the oil pan 21 communicates with a water-rising passage 44 of the mount member 6, and an opening part 52 through which exhaust passages 47, 48 communicate. Cooling water, circulated downward in a water dropping passage 45, is prevented from circulating to the side of the oil pan 21 by the gasket 27 so as to be guided to the downstream via a cooling water passage 55 partitioned between the gasket and the mount member 6. |
