The base station is connected to the fixed telephony network via a PBX. The fixed telephony network is an ISDN type. The radio video terminal complies with standard ITY-T H.320. The system incorporates at least one rapid video conference terminal, complying with standard ITU-T- H.320, connected to the fixed telephony network. The PBX is of the multi-service type (ISPBX), and is connected to the fixed telephony network via a radio link. Alternatively, it can be connected via a cable connection. The radio link between the radio video terminal and the base station works with a radio link protocol. The radio link protocol includes protective coding and is optimised in order to give maximum bit speed for video and sound transmission. |
