Prod. comprises a thermoplastic organic material; e.g. polypropylene, polyamide or polyester; with fibre reinforcement eg. glass fibre; mineral and organic additives is made by moulding extrusion or injection from material supplied from an extruder where at least part of the organic material is fed in the form of strands or continuous filaments. The organic material and reinforcing fibres may be fed at the same or via two different feed entries, also the input may be a continuous filament which itself is a composite of reinforcement and organic material.
