PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an odorless polymerized toner by a suspension polymn. method while reducing the amt. of a decomposed product of a polymn. initiator and the amt. of a residual monomer. SOLUTION: When a polymerizable monomer compsn. contg. at least a polymerizable monomer and a colorant is suspended in an aq. dispersive medium contg. a dispersion stabilizer and a polymerized toner consisting of colored polymer particles is produced by polymn. with a polymn. initiator, a nonarom. org. peroxide having a mol.wt. of <=250 is used as the polymn. initiator and suspension polymn. is carried out in the polymn. temp. range of 75-100 deg.C.
