PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movement grasping system for vehicle easily realizable only by arranging required equipment and utilizing the public line of telephone, and further, capable of suppressing unnecessary communication cost or the consumption of a battery, etc., by performing no transmission when information is not properly transmitted to a party, and reducing errors in the contents of received data as a result. SOLUTION: A telephone set 14 of a portable telephone for data transmission is connected to a vehicle computer 2 to which position information at a global positioning system(GPS) receiver 4 or vehicle condition information at a car speed sensor 3 received from a GPS satellite 6 are inputted, the data of position and vehicle conditions are sent to a personal computer 9 on the side of office by transmission based on the telephone, and the moving state of the vehicle are grasped by the personal computer 9. Then, at the vehicle computer 2, the radio wave reception level at the telephone set 14 of portable telephone and the car speed at the car speed sensor 3 are monitored and when the radio wave reception level corresponding to the car speed is higher than a fixed value, information is transmitted. |
