The assembly of cardboard support pins for cardboard crates or pallets is made from a blank. The blank has a polygonal base (4) with connecting side faces (5,6). A first base plate (8) is attached to one of the sides and a second base plate (9) is attached to the opposite side. The two base plates have a length greater than the base and are placed one above the other to form a double base plate. This base plate is then fixed by stapling or gluing. Individual or separated pins (2) are glued or stapled under a cardboard plate forming the pallet floor or the case bottom.
