PIEZOELECTRIC TRANSFORMER AND ITS MOUNTING STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric transformer and its mounting structure which suppresses the vibration of the transformer from being impeded. SOLUTION: A piezoelectric transformer element 100 is mounted on a mounting board 410. One end of a tinsel wire 40 is fixed to a sec. electrode 142 of a piezoelectric ceramic board 110 with solder 52. The wire 40 rises up and down to route to a land 420 and soldered thereto. The run-about shape of the wire 40 has no inflexion point from the rise start position to the fixed position. The wire 40 runs across an imaginary line which is parallel to the prim. end face 117 of the board 110 and passes a connecting point of the land 420, away from the board 110, then returns back to the land 420 and is soldered thereto.
