PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To complement a deficient document structure with an irreducible minimum and easy-to-understand description when the document structure is converted. SOLUTION: A convesion rule storage means 4 is stored with a rule, which is utilized to convert a 1st document structure 1 into an intermediate structure 3, as a conversion rule. A document class managing means 5 manages definition information on at least a 1st and a 2nd document class. An intermediate structure generating means 6 converts the 1st document structure 1 based upon the inputted 1st document class into the intermediate structure 3 according to the definition information on the 1st document class and the conversion rule. A complementation specification storage means 7 is stored with information regarding nodes and subtrees which are deficient when the intermediate structure 3 is compared with a 2nd document structure 2 as complementation specifications. A complementing means 8 complements the nodes and subtrees which are deficient in the intermediate structure according to the definition information on the 2nd document class and the complementation specifications to generate the 2nd document structure. |
