PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the insertion of a probe with ease into a bent part in a bend pipe with a large curvature and the discontinuous part of a pipe by providing a protective tube containing a flexible shaft and a plurality of bearings for a rotation transmitting mechanism part. SOLUTION: A rotation transmitting mechanism part 2 connects a probe body part 1 to a probe head part 3, and transmits the rotating force from the body part 1 to the head part 3. The rotation transmitting mechanism part 2 is consisted of a flexible shaft 19, annular-shaped supports 15 and bearings 14 which are arranged at regular intervals, and a closely contact coil spring 9 as a tubular protective tube containing these. Thereby the flexible shaft 19 does not come into direct contact with the inside walls of an object under test either at a bent part in a bend pipe with a large curvature or at a discontinuous part in a pipe and is via the more than one bearing 14 and coil spring 9. Therefore, it is possible to transmit the rotating force according to the curvature of the bent pipe while suitably maintaining centering alignment the flexible shaft 19, and the loss of the rotating force becomes a minimum. |
