PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a translating result as the combination of partial equivalents by dividing original sentence data of length over a limit into analyzable word strings, translating them and combing equivalent sentence data to be one sentence so as to avoid the impossibility of translation. SOLUTION: A translation processing part 18 checks whether the length of the word string within an input buffer 13 is within the limit or not. At the time of exceeding the limit, a translation processing part 18 extracts a word string of a maximum allowable length with respect to the word string within the buffer 13 to move it to an original sentence buffer. The part 18, with respect to the word strings in the buffer 20, retrieves a translation dictionary 19 to execute morpheme analytic and executes a preferential processing between the parts of speech to define the part of speech. Next the part 18 execute syntax analysis by referring to a syntax analysis rule for partial translation within the dictionary 19. Next, the part 18 transforms a word string within an analysis range to Japanese structure, rearranges the transformed word in order of Japanese, prepares an equivalent sentence by adding a post positional word functioning as an auxiliary to a main word and an inflection ending of a word, and stores it in an output buffer 14. |
