PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for demagnetizing an iron core which contributes to miniaturization of a power supply outputting voltage to the iron core without generating high voltage or arc voltage in the iron core, and enables residual magnetic flux of the iron core to be precisely erased. SOLUTION: A system includes a power supply 1 which enables output voltages of positive polarity and negative polarity, and the power supply 1 outputs alternately positive voltage and negative voltage to an iron core 9. Initially, each cycle of the voltage is applied for longer time so that magnetic flux more than saturation magnetic flux of the iron core 9 may be applied to the iron core 9. The applied magnetic flux is then decreased gradually to be zero finally. |
