PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unnecessitate a position detector such as a photosensor and feedback control for a stepping motor by providing a stopper for starting operation always at the same position after wiper-operating a fan-shaped color filter and latching it at a fixed position after supplying power, so as to miniaturize the color filter. SOLUTION: A picture signal is obtained by wiper-operating the fan-shaped color filter 1, which is obtained by vapor-depositing each color of red, green and blue by dividing a longitudinal direction into three, in the order of red→green→blue→red→green between CCD 2 and the lens of a camera by the stepping motor 3. At the time of supplying power, a pulse is inputted to the stepping motor 3 without fail to move the fan-shaped color filter 1 counterclockwise to a position where one long edge of the filter 1 is abutted to a damper 4 being a reference position to latch in order to start always from the reference position. It is preferable that the position of the stopper 4 is nearer to a radii than to the central position of the fan-shape so as to minimize an error.
