PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain route guide information to a target place which is previously designated and to improve the convenience of a route guide system by giving a present position information detection function to a portable communication terminals and communicating data with a guide indication device having a guide information calculation means. SOLUTION: The portable communication terminal 10 is provided with a portable telephone part 30 and a position detection part 20. The position detection part 20 calculates present position information on a user from the signal of a GPS satellite by a GPS antenna 44, a signal processing part 22 and a bearing sensor. CPU 38 transmits it to a public line from the telephone part 30. When the guide indication device 50 receives position information from the terminal 10, CPU 58 calculates route guide information by referring to target place information of the user stored in RAM 60 and map information of an external storage device 55, a sound processing part 52 converts it into sound, selects the public line 80 and transmits it to the portable communication terminal 10 of the user through a base station 90. Thus, the user can receive a rout guide to the target place only by carrying a small portable communication terminal. |
