PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an emulator device which previously inspects whether an instruction for setting a stack pointer value exists in a program or not and reports it to a host computer at the time of unsetting. SOLUTION: The device is provided with stack pointer value erroneous setting defecting means 6 and 13 which detect whether or not the instruction for setting the stack pointer value exists in the program before operating the program, whether or not the instruction for operating a stack exists before the instruction for setting the stack pointer value or whether or not the instruction for operating the stack exists before the instruction for controlling the permission and inhibition of interruption occurrence and also which execute a report to the host computer at the time of detection. Then, the faulty part of the program caused by the unsetting of the stack pointer valule is previously discovered. |
