PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce work time and work quantity, accompanying PVC path change-over work connecting a PVC path corresponding to a PVC identifier to a shift destination exchange for an identified permanent virtual circuit (PVC) control software entity. SOLUTION: An exchange maintenance staff indicates the PVC path change- over from a newly arranged exchange 4 and indtcates PVCid collection as against another exchange, such as an adjacent tandem switch 2, etc. In another exchange, main PVCid on the PVCid collection indication is compared with PVCid which is collected at the time of setting the PVC path, so as to be stored and the exchange is adapted as a change-over exchange at the time of matching. Then, a main exchange 1 which receives PVCid collection response indicates PVC path change-over with respect to the tandem switch 2 which returns PVCid collection response. The tandem switch 2 automatically change-over the PVC path, so as to permit the PVC path which is set towards the main exchange 1 to be directed to the newly arranged exchange 4. |
