PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the elongation and shrinkage of an image by reducing a process speed, independently from the temperature control of a heater, when a detected temperature is over a proper temperature. SOLUTION: A heater 102 comprises a good heat conductive substrate 102a, and a resistance layer 102b generating the heat by energization, a thermistor 105 as a temperature detecting means is kept into contact with the good heat conductive substrate 102a, for detecting the temperature of the heater 102 to keep the same at a proper value. The temperature of a pressure roller 104 is detected by the thermistor 105, and the rotation of a main motor is reduced without interlocking with the switching of the controlled temperature of the resistance layer 102b. At that time, the devices excluding an exposing device generating the laser, and a recording material transporting system are interlocked with the reduction of the speed. The process speed is reduced lower than the speed of the main motor when the detected temperature of the thermistor which is used as the reference for the change of the process speed is more than a threshold value in the continuous printing and the intermittent printing. |
