COORDINATE INPUT DEVICE USING POINTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the input operability of a coordinate input device which uses a tablet type pointing device by actualizing a function capable of adjusting the moving speed (movement quantity) of input coordinates and performing click operation for instructing for selecting and execution or cancellation on a tablet. SOLUTION: This coordinate input device uses the tablet type pointing device and is equipped with a pressure sensor part which detects pressure when input instruction is given on the tablet 4. The pressure sensor part has a 1st pressure sensor 5 for adjusting the moving speed of a cursor and 2nd pressure sensors 50A and 50B for detecting input instruction to a clock operation surface provided on the tablet 4. A click operation function corresponding to a click button of the tablet system is actualized with the pressure detecting functions of the 2nd pressure sensors 50A and 50B.
