<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for developing an electrostatic latent image excellent in transparency to OHP, not causing unevenness in image density and image fog and excellent in blade cleanability and to provide a toner for developing an electrostatic latent image solving the problem of toner fixation on a regulation part. SOLUTION: This toner for developing an electrostatic latent image consists of aggregate particles having 4-10μm vol. average particle diameter and each of the particles consists of polyester resin particles having 0.1-1μm vol. average particle diameter. The polyester resin has 58-70 deg.C glass transition temp., 80-130 deg.C softening point and a number average mol.wt. of 2,000-10,000 and the ratio of the wt. average mol.wt. to the number average mol.wt. is 2-10. This toner is produced as follows; a colored resin soln. consisting of the polyester resin, a colorant and a water-insoluble org. solvent is emulsified and dispersed in water to prepare an oil-in-water type emulsion, the org. solvent is removed from the emulsion and the resultant colored resin particles having 0.1-1μm vol. average particle diameter are aggregated to obtain toner particles made of aggregate particles having 4-10μm vol. average particle diameter.</p> |
