PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of skew of an objective lens and to satisfactorily read out the information signal from an optical recording medium by positioning the working point of electromagnetic force of a driving coil to a position corresponding to the center of gravity of a movable part. SOLUTION: In such a state that a tracking driving current is not supplied to a tracking driving coil 24, the movable part is positioned at such a position that the working point C of the electromagnetic force (f) exerted to a focusing driving coil 23 from a magnetic circuit corresponds to the center of gravity G of the movable part as to the Y-axis direction against a base part 1, that is, such a position that the distanceΔY between the working point C and the center of gravity G of the movable part becomes 0. As the result, since the angular moment is not generated when the electromagnetic force (f) is impressed on the working point C, the movable part does not be rotated against the base part 1, then the skew on the objective lens 21 is not generated.
