PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily process a read image by memorizing the image data obtained by a method corresponding to the set mode, and editing the document image on the basis of the image data. SOLUTION: The bits 4-7 of a memory plane are used as gradation data for display of a black-and-white document, when the black-and-white document is input, and the bits 1-3 are used as a code indicating a marker color. The data for performing the display to LCD, is memorized in the all bits 0-7 of the memory plane, when the input document is a color document, or the black- and-white and colour document. A setting circuit sets at least one mode from plural modes. An acquisition circuit acquires the image data by reading the document. A memorizing circuit memorizes the image data acquired by the method corresponding to the set mode. And an editing circuit edits the document image on the basis of the memorized image data. |
