摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take measurements without disordering a distribution of measured quantities even in intense electromagnetic environment. SOLUTION: On an optical integrated circuit 7 which is constituted by laminating high polymer films, a light guide 1 is formed which propagates light. One end of the light guide 1 is optically coupled with one end of an optical fiber 8 and the other end is optically coupled with an optical fiber 85. A light source 82 for electric field detection is optically coupled with the optical fiber 84 and a photodetector 83 is optically coupled with the optical fiber 85. An out-surface branching mirror equipped with two mirror surfaces is provided almost at the center part of each branch light guide 13B, an electric field sensor 5 which has a thin film polarizer, aλ/4 phase thin film, an electro-optic material thin film, and a light reflecting film is provided right above the out-surface branching mirror, and a light-light switch 91 is arranged on the incidence side of the electric field sensor. When the sensor is put in an electric field, the light from the light source 82 has its intensity modulated by the electro-optic material thin film, so the electric field intensity can be measured.
