PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive high-quality signals at both a base station and every terminal equipment by applying orthogonal codes as the spreading codes of transmitted signals to respective incoming and outgoing lines. SOLUTION: When the initial synchronism acquisition of spreading codes is completed in a search mode, a synchronism acquisition circuit 214 outputs search phase information SP-i. On the other hand, a discrimination circuit 213 outputs phase difference information PD-i by performing the comparing operation of received phases in parallel with the inverse spreading processing of received signals Rx in a phase control mode. At the time of change from the search mode to the phase control mode at the base station, under phase jump control and transmission phase control to be performed in the phase control mode at every terminal equipment, the phases of received signals from respective pieces of terminal equipment can be equalized at the base station. Therefore, while effectively utilizing the characteristics of orthogonal codes, transmitted signals Tx-i from respective terminals can be prevented from mutual interference. |
