PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare right managing information even when erroneous recognition is made by automatically recognizing processing by classifying medical images, compare-classifying automatically recognized identification information of each medical image by each class, preparing managing information based on its and adding the managing information to each image of the class. SOLUTION: Each medical image is applied the recognizing processing of identification information included in the picture by an automatic recognition means and then classified into plural classes by a classifying means. A compare- classifying means compares and classifies plural medical images regarded as one class by classifying means according to a prescribed rule. When automatic recognition is not made correctly concerning a part of the medical images then, the number of classification becomes plural but in this case the patient number of the largest number by majority decision is regarded as a correct patient number. A managing information preparing means prepares managing information based on information which is decided to adopt. Prepared managing information is given to each medical image as a header 8 by a filing system 4. |
