PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to transfer image data by using an existent printer interface without limiting the display speed of a projector, etc. SOLUTION: Image data from a host device 10 are compressed by a compression part, transferred to a display device 12 by a low-speed printer interface, and restored by a decoding part to the original image data, which are displayed. The display device 12 is a projector and displays a 2nd screen 104 auxiliarily in a 1st screen 102 for presentation by an independent liquid crystal panel. For the display of the 1st screen 102, a multi-pixel, high-resolution phase shift type liquid crystal panel is used, and the image data are compressed, transferred, and displayed. As the 2nd screen 104, a personal computer screen is transferred and displayed as it is. |
