PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To excellently supply toner to a developing device by making the lower end of an aperture part for supplying developer higher than a rotary carrying member in a rotary type developing device where development is executed at a position where a wall surface on which the aperture part for supplying the developer is formed is tilted. SOLUTION: In this rotary type developing device, a state where the wall surface on which the aperture part for supplying the developer is formed is inclined is set as a developing position, and positional relation between a toner carrying screw 11Y and the aperture part 30 of a toner hopper is regulated so that the lower end 301 of the aperture part of the toner hopper 2Y in such an inclined state is made higher than a horizontal plane passing the upper end of the outermost periphery of the rotational locus of the screw 11Y. The toner carrying screw is set to be buried under the toner T even when toner in the toner hopper flows out to a toner cartridge side at the developing position. |
