PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera in which even a picture with high quality with a large amount of picture data can be recorded on a recording medium at a high speed, and data transmission with other information equipments can be attained at a high speed. SOLUTION: A subject is image picked-up and outputted by image pickup means 101-105, the image picked-up picture data are encoded by picture data encoding means 106 and 107, and the encoded picture data are stored in plural storing means in parallel such as built-in storing means 131 and 132, or outside storing means 150a and 150b. Also, encoded picture data received through a transmitting means 124 are also stored in parallel in the plural storing means such as the built-in storing means 131 and 132, or the attachable and detachable outside storing means 150a and 150b. |
