PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal receiving device in which a display device can be made compact and thin without deteriorating receiving sensitivity to a signal light. SOLUTION: A side light system back light means 12 is provided at the back side of a liquid crystal panel 11, and a light receiving element 17 is arranged at the back side so that a light receiving face can be faced to the liquid crystal panel 11 side. A signal light transmitted from a remote place is inputted through the liquid crystal panel 11 and the side light system back light means 12 to the light receiving element 17. The side light system back light means 12 is adopted so that a distance between the light receiving element 17 and a fluorescent tube 15 for a back light can be separated, a radiation noise inputted from the fluorescent tube 15 for the back light to the light receiving element 17 can be reduced, and receiving precision by the light receiving element 17 can be improved. |
