PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of an image of a half tone part white void caused by toner inversely transferred, derived from the static discharge between an intermediate transfer body part and the image carrier after the intermediate transfer, that is provided with different probability of the occurrence depending on the image carrier potential by controlling the transfer bias voltage applied on the intermediate transfer body based on the potential information of the image carrier.
