PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spread spectrum radio communication system of frequency hopping system, with which the improvement of transfer rate or the improvement of secrecy is enabled. SOLUTION: When performing frequency hopping, communication time (residence time) utilizing one frequency can be changed. A user can arbitrarily set the changing method through a dial part 39. At the time of image information or the like having numerous data, the residence time is prolonged and at the time of audio information or the like having little data, the residence time is reduced. When secrecy is found, the residence time is reduced and when secrecy is fount not, the residence time can be prolonged as well. Such setting of residence time can be automatically set not only by the manual operation of user but also by discriminating the class of data as well. |
