摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Q-switch optical fiber laser where a connection loss between elements constituting a laser resonator is small, structure is simple and the alignment of a space optical system is unnecessary. SOLUTION: In the laser resonator constituted of a rare earth added fiber 2 excited by an excitation light source 1 and optical fiber grating reflecting mirrors 10 and 11, stress is given to the reflecting mirror 11 by an oscillator 12 and it extends/contracts in a longitudinal direction. Thus, the period of a refraction factor change in the core of the optical fiber extends/contracts and the reflected wavelength of the optical fiber grating reflecting mirror 11 changes. The change of the reflected wavelength is set so that the reflected wavelength band of the optical fiber grating reflecting mirror 11 is periodically overlapped with the reflected wavelength band of the optical fiber grating reflecting mirror 10 by a high frequency power source 3 and a DC fiber power source 13.
