PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a long life, and to secure stable toner replenishment over a long period by constituting a toner replenishment elastic roller (sponge roller) of a shaft, a closed-cell sponge layer formed on the shaft and an open-cell sponge layer formed on the closed-cell sponge layer. SOLUTION: This device is provided with pawls 2 and 3 on an opening part 1a so as to make a specified abrasion quantity corresponding to a sponge roller 4 arranged opposite to the opening part 1a formed on a side face of the toner container 1. The sponge roller 4 is pivotally supported inside the toner container 1, the closed-cell sponge layer 6a is provided on a shaft 5 periphery and the open-cell sponge layer 6 is furnished on the closed-cell sponge layer 6a periphery. The elasticity of the closed-cell layer 6a is set lower than the that of the open- cell sponge layer 6. Therefore, the sponge layer 6a is easier to be deformed, stress applied on the sponge layer 6 surface layer becomes lower, and thus the short term sponge damage is blocked. |
