PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep users from feeling uneasy about safety by enabling the interruption of the supply of source voltage before a temperature at which a thermostat tar final protection against the failure of a solid-state relay serving as a hardware circuit is reached, so that protection against time failure can be provided before parts are damaged. SOLUTION: If a conducting state occurs as the result of damage to a solid- state relay 75, the normal operating state of a control part 71 is utilized to shut off the supply of power from the control part 71 by a power switch 72 when an abnormal temperature on the surface of a heat roller is detected by a thermistor 64, so that the power can be shut off before a temperature at which a thermostat 68 serving as final protection operates is reached. |
