摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel having addressing electrodes which can be manufactured at low cost without requiring a complicated process. SOLUTION: In a plasma display panel having addressing electrodes 9 to select lighting on and off of respective display cells in the front face plate or the rear face plate, the addressing electrodes 9 are formed from a Ni-B alloy film deposited from an electroless Ni coating solution using a boron compound as a reducing agent. Normally, since lighting information for a plurality of cells is not simultaneously supplied to the addressing electrodes, large current does not flow in the electrodes and the surface resistance value 0.5-20EΩ or lower is sufficient, so that thick film forming printing is not necessarily needed and a thin film coating layer can sufficiently satisfy the conditions. There are many kinds of materials usable for electroless coating, the Ni-B alloy has an advantage from the overall view point of film formability, easiness of patterning, conductivity, heat resistance, and cost.
