摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent position detecting members fixed to the stator shaft of a rotating-field synchronous machine from giving adverse influences to the balance of the stator shaft in principle by constituting the position detecting members in a mechanically balanced state. SOLUTION: Each hat type detecting disc (position detecting member) 1A and 1B is composed of a large-diameter section 11 extended over an angle of 180 deg. and a small-diameter section 12 extended over the remaining angle of 180 deg.. The discs 1A and 1B are arranged in such a state that their large- diameter sections 11 and small-diameter sections 12 overlap each other, namely, the same structural parts of the disks 1A and 1B are shifted 180 deg. from each other in the peripheral direction when viewed from their end faces. When the discs 1A and 1B are arranged in such a way, a mechanical balance can be obtained between the discs 1A and 1P and the problem which occurs owing to the mechanical-unbalance between the disks 1A and 1B an be dissolved. It is possible not to arrange position sensors 2u-2w which are to be arranged on a fixed side on the disc 1B side, but on the disc 1A side only.
