PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a slotless winding stator disposed in a cylindrical shell in an electric machine, which is capable of positioning a coil conductor in parallel more exactly to the axial line of a motor and increasing filling efficiency of a slot. SOLUTION: In this method, a slotless winding stator for an electric motor is manufactured, whose coil 12 is preformed and which is disposed on the positioning pin 18 of a transfer tool 10. A transfer tool 10 loaded with a winding coil is inserted in the shell 14 of a stator. During inserting work, a coil guide 22 flattens the coil so that the acting part of the winding may be relatively straight and in parallel to the axis. When the winding is at a prescribed position, the transfer tool energizes an edge folded part 11 outward by retreating the positioning pin 18. When the edge folded part 11 has extended outward, the transfer tool 10 is dismounted. |
