PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily improve tolerance and liquid orientability by eliminating domain defects which are liable to lead to the degradation in the tolerance in terms of working methods without degrading performance. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device is produced in this process by forming X-Y signal line 6, 7 groups formed in an X-Y matrix form and thin-film transistor 8 groups electrically connected to these signal line 6, 7 groups on the surface of a first substrate, connecting these X-Y signal line 6, 7 groups to driving IC packaging terminal parts 2, 3 at the end of the first substrate, inserting liquid crystals between the spacing where a second substrate formed with counter electrodes and the first substrate face each other, raising the liquid crystal material temp. to the phase transition temp. A deg.C from the liquid crystal state of the liquid crystal material to the liquid state and stabilizing the orientability of the liquid crystal molecules by lowering the liquid crystal material temp. to the phase transition temp. A deg.C or below. Wind 1 is applied to the packaging terminal part 2, 3 sides to cool the entire part of the device from the packaging terminal part 2, 3 sides at the time of lowering the liquid crystal material temp. |
