PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve darkness on a cathode-ray surface by forming a surface processing film containing a fullerene compound on a surface of a cathode-ray tube. SOLUTION: A coating liquid is obtained by adding a solution in which a fullerene compound to a solution in which an ITO ultra particle of 50 to 200Å in particle size is dispersed. This coating liquid is applied yo a panel surface of a cathode-ray tube and dried, after which a silica gel liquid is applied thereon, dried and heat-treated, and a surface processing layer made of a laminated film made of a low refraction factor layer containing silica and a high refraction factor layer containing the fullerene compound. |
