PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce man-hour in an assembling process of a portable telephone set, etc., and to reduce an occupied area of a surface mounting type electromagnetic sounding body occupying on a printed circuit board as much as possible by providing a sound leakage prevention part on the periphery of a sound emission hole opened on a thin type resin casing incorporating a sounding part. SOLUTION: The casing 12 of the surface mounting electromagnetic sounding body 11 is constituted of an upper side casing 12a and a lower side casing 12b, and a vibration sounding part is housed in its internal space, and the sound emission hole is opened and arranged on one side surface of the casing 12. Then, sound leakage preventing packing 17 made of silicon rubber or heat resistance rubber, etc., is loaded on the sound emission hole. The packing 17 is fixed tightly to the periphery of the sound emission hole by holding its leg part between the upper side, lower side casings 12a, 12b of the casing 12 and applying ultrasonic weld to the put-together surface between respective casings 12a, 12b when the surface mounting electromagnetic sounding body 11 is assembled. |
